SKILL ASSESSMENT IN AUSTRALIA
A Skill Assessment is a crucial step for many visa applications, especially for skilled migration. It involves an official evaluation by an approved assessing authority to determine whether your qualifications and work experience meet Australian standards for your nominated occupation.
Each occupation has a specific assessing body, and requirements vary by profession. A positive skill assessment is often required before applying for visas such as Skilled Independent (189), Skilled Nominated (190), or Graduate Visa (485) under the Graduate Work Stream.
Getting professional advice ensures you choose the right occupation and meet all criteria to increase your chances of visa success.
