Sydney is a stunning and vibrant city built around one of the most beautiful bays in the world with sparkling beaches and easy access to the heart of the city. With an approximate population of 4.5 million inhabitants, Sydney is the largest and the oldest city in Australia. The first settlers arrived in 1788.

Situated on Sydney Harbour and next to Circular Quay, The Rocks is the starting point of European settlement in Australia. The neighborhood is known for its colorful streets and elegantly restored buildings, entertainment venues and specialty shops. Circular Quay is the connecting point between ferries, trains and buses that go to the suburbs and to the city center.

The Sydney Opera House is arguably the main icon of Australian architecture. A landmark built on Bennelong Point, where opera, ballet, theater and music concerts amaze viewers with the harmony between the performances and the beauty of the place.

Attending a presentation of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra is an unforgettable spectacle.
The floor of the revolving restaurant, on the Sydney Tower, offers an amazing 360 degree view of the whole city.
Darling Harbour is a place of celebration in Sydney. By the Bay, the modern neighborhood offers great choices for leisure and entertainment, with many cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and theaters.

Manly is on the seaside northeast of the city of Sydney with bay beaches and ocean resort. From Circular Quay you can take the ferry or JetCat (express ferry) to Manly, or visit it as part of a cruise across the bay.

From North to South of the city, you will find beautiful white sand beaches, a few minutes by bus, ferry or car. In Sydney Harbour are the beaches of Balmoral, Nielsen Park and Camp Cove.

For those who like surfing, the town offers options in the South of the city: Bondi, Bronte, Coogee and Maroubra; and in the North: Collaroy, Palm Beach, among others.
In the city, enjoy the energetic Sydney Theatre, with performances of dance, opera, concerts, and fun pubs, which are usually located in downtown hotels.

Remember that you can find almost every type of cuisine in Sydney. Try the local seafood or sample the best international cuisines. Some of the best restaurants can be found in China Town, The Rocks, Newtown, Balmain, Leichhardt, Darlinghurst and Kings Cross.

Besides its extraordinary beauty and structure, Sydney fascinates us with its mix of ethnicities that roam the streets, showing that peace and harmony is a natural process of human civilization.
The beaches of New South Wales are gorgeous. Worth checking out. We suggest a drive up north to enjoy the fantastic scenery from Newcastle, passing through Port Stephens, Port Macquarie to Byron Bay, with the dazzling scenery and getting all the energy that these places offer. Or if you are considering a shorter trip, check out the beautiful Kiama, south of Sydney, with its semi-deserted white sand beaches.
