The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course helps international students to improve the English language skills and communication strategies needed to successfully develop their academic life in Australia and New Zealand, whether for technical courses or University Graduate or Doctorate).
The EAP promote hight quality to students in the four essential communication skills in English: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
In addition, this program familiarizes students with the teaching and study methodology and content required in both technical schools and Australian and New Zealand universities, developing skills for academic research and oral presentation of academic work.
The student may choose to run the program at a language school or at the language center of an Australian or New Zealand university.
University language centers often offer direct access to university courses if the student performs satisfactorily on the EAP program, and waives the student from taking an IELTS or TOEFL exam for application at the University.
To participate in the EAP program, you must have at least the intermediate level of English. The structure of the course varies according to the institution chosen, and may have duration and start dates flexible or predetermined by the school.
